About the Author

Alex Alexander, teaching ESL

Millicent "Alex" Alexander is a writer and educator who has taught in the public school system for well over twenty-five years. She has had experience teaching pre-school, middle and high school, and adult students in Northern and Southern California and Michigan. In 1996, she wrote and produced the classic "The INS Citizenship Video: Will They Pass," which is still being used in classrooms nationwide.

She began developing the Pronouncercizing approach approximately 15 years ago when she was teaching ESL Literacy. She has presented at local and statewide conferences and holds regular teacher-training workshops. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
